Navigating around the map
There are several ways to navigate around the map. Most commonly you can use the slider bar on the top left side of the map to zoom in and out. Click and drag the mouse to pan around.
Some other ways to navigate:
- SHIFT + Click to recenter
- SHIFT + Drag to zoom in
- SHIFT + CTRL + Drag to zoom out
- Mouse Scroll Forward to zoom in
- Mouse Scroll Backward to zoom out
- Use Arrow keys to pan
- + key to zoom in a level
- - key to zoom out a level

Using the Map Control Panel
Click on the airport abbreviation to automatically zoom to the airport.
The Change Map View drop down list contains the different types of Maps that you can overlay your route with.
To turn on or off the Available Layers click the check box next to the appropriate layer. |
Viewing Weather Radar
Pressing The Weather Radar button will display the most current weather radar. Click it again to turn it off. The transparency of the radar can be changed by using the horizontal slide bar under Change Radar Transparency. Move the slider to the left for more transparency and vice versa. This radar is updated every 10 minutes and will refresh went the map is moved. |

Getting More Information About a TFR, Route or Highlighted Airport
Some map features can be 'clicked', such as the TFR's (highlighted in RED), Routes (if any), and your arrival and destination airport (if any). Click these items to get more information about them. |
